Our Story

Authenticity is the watchword of Bella Ciao - Italian Canteen. In Portuguese, the word canteen can be translated as a popular restaurant, or tasca, where the dishes are really traditional, very tasty and always great: all of them are truly Italian and made with the best products available on the daily market.

It is the quality and freshness of the ingredients that define the daily menu, just as a mamma would do. In this case, the menu is designed by Chef Marcello Di Salvatore, an Italian living in Portugal for twelve years, and always consisting of delicious recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation in his family.

The space is intimate, with a decoration that pays homage to Italy in every detail, highlighting the murals by artist Telmo Alcobia that reproduce vintage Italian advertising (and whose work you can see on telmoalcobiapintura.blogspot.pt). An authentic restaurant to (re) discover from Monday to Saturday from 12h-16h and from 19h-24h. We are waiting for you!
